Basics
First make sure you open up a bank account, not only can you collect interest from it but it will be a huge factor
in how your money is gained. Besides you don't want to be carrying around thousands of points at a time, for it can be stolen
by those horrid creatures in random events and you will tend to spend more if its available to you rather then gaining its
interest by putting it in the bank. When you are first starting out, set aside a daily limit of how much neopoints you will
spend that day, while making sure your profit is always higher then your expenses. Even if its only by a few points.
Games
Playing games is a great way to have fun with your pet, not to mention a great
way to make lots of neopoints everyday. But when you play your games make sure to play them 3 times a day to get the most
out of the game.

Open A Shop
This will be one of your major factors in gaining in a profit. When you are first
starting out, specialize in Regular Food Shop items. Food, furniture, and school supplies are a big seller, no matter what
kind. Just get to the shops a few minutes before they restock, and keep refreshing the page. The restocks are completely random,
which means they happen at any given time, it is all pure luck of being there at just the right time so you might have to
wait there a while before they restock. Once they do restock just grab as much as you can, then put it into your shop. Check
the shop wizard for the price that item is selling for (refresh the page a few times to see
more price ranges). Once you find the lowest price on the shop wizard price your item a few points below the price you found.
Just make sure never price your items under what you originally paid for them, or you will be loosing your neopoints instead
of gaining them. For newbies, dont worry about upgrading a lot, hust to only agout size 3 or 4. If a couple of days later
some of your items have not sold, recheck the shop wizard again and change your prices accordingly. Once you get better established
look at the auctions and trading post for deals on items. Find items that you can makea profit
from, then get selling!
Stock Market
There is a lot to say about the stock market. You should actually go to my stock
market guide to get the most help but I will give you a little summary here.
The stock market is constantly chainging, sometimes you can make tons of mony and
sometimes you can loose a lot of money. To start off you need to know when to buy them. If you have noticed sometimes the
numbers anr red which meand that stock has crashed. That is when you buy, and buy lots of the stock. Then check back every
day to see if the number that was in red has changed to green. That means is has rose in value. That is when you sell so you
will make a prophet.
Extra Money Making Tips
- Sign up with neopets
sponsors. Neopets always gives away points for signing up because they make money
as we sign up. We know its a pain getting all that junk mail so make an alternative email address with hotmail or yahoo and
use that for Neopets sponsors mail. Just don't make fake emails that you will never use, some of neopets sponsors have some
great things to offer.
- Take part in the
Mystery Pic, Caption Contest, Story Telling Contest, and why not write an article for the Neopian Times? You get neopoints and a rare item for these.
- Visit the
Snowager. You could get some items, you never know.
- Use the
referral program. I got tones of neopoints from that and some great items like paintbrushes
and codestones.
